Tyler Salter*

Financial Advisor

Born in northern California but raised in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Tyler spent eight years in Texas for college before moving back to the Phoenix area in 2020, where he currently resides. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Abilene Christian University and a Master’s in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University.

Throughout his career, Tyler has served in a variety of leadership and educational roles, including Boys and Girls Club Director, Varsity High School Baseball/Basketball Coach, Athletic Director, and business owner. After several years teaching at the high school level, he joined Grand Canyon University as a professor in the Humanities and Social Sciences Department. An educator at heart and currently in the process of writing his first novel, he brings both creativity and a love of learning to everything he does.

Tyler joined Strategic Financial Concepts in 2025, recognizing the opportunity to merge his passion for education with the need for greater financial literacy. “I’m not here to sell products or push narratives,” he says. “I’m here to educate and elevate individuals, families, and businesses to see their full potential and understand how they can improve, fix, and extend their financial situations. Helping others help themselves is the most rewarding part of what I do.”
He and his wife, Annie, are proud parents of three wonderful and energetic children. When he’s not teaching or writing, Tyler enjoys spending time with his family, playing and watching sports, gaming, and reading.
