T. Jay DiBacco, MBA, LUTCF, is a respected financial leader and mentor with nearly 50 years in the financial services industry. Jay’s personal priorities are simple: God, Family, Country, and helping others succeed. He measures success by the number of lives he has impacted. He is the founder, President, and Chief Empowerment Officer of Wealthmakers, where he has helped individuals, families, business owners, and agents to achieve financial success.
Jay began his career in 1981 with Security Mutual Life NE, in his first year earning National Rookie of the Year honors and his first membership in the Million Dollar Round Table. He later became a General Agent with Ohio National Financial Services, and after five years was asked to serve as a Regional Vice President overseeing six Midwest states. Under his leadership, his region earned multiple “First in Class” agency recognitions through GAMA International.
A lifelong teacher and mentor, Jay earned a music degree with an education endorsement from the University of Wyoming and began his career in education before transitioning into financial services. His passion for leadership and empowering others has remained constant throughout his life. Jay is chronicled in Marquis’ Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World. He is a Marquis’ Who’s Who Lifetime Achievement Award honoree.
Jay served with distinction in the United States Army and National Guard, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. Military honors include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and the American Spirit Honor Medal.
In addition to his professional and military accomplishments, he has been active in civic, philanthropic, and musical organizations throughout his life. Jay has served in leadership roles with the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors, Boy Scouts of America, Chamber of Commerce, and United Way, while continuing his love of music in bands, orchestras, choruses, and chamber groups. He performs in four groups, including the Winds of Wyoming Woodwind Quintet which he established. Jay and his spouse Kay enjoy life in Cheyenne, WY.
